Ordering Materials For Your Agency

When visiting the Employer Site, you can order participant and employer CalPERS 457 Plan materials for your agency online. You can download soft copies right from the Employer Resource Center, or order physical copies using the online ordering system. Here are some tips!

  • The materials are available at no additional charge:
  • You don’t pay anything!
  • You don’t use a credit card to order.
  • When you are prompted to enter payment information, the correct department ID code is filled in for you.

Your shipping delivery address:

  • Do use your agency’s street address.
  • Don’t use a post office box.

Reminder

The 457 Plan record keeper, formerly known as ING, changed its name to Voya Financial® in September 2014.

 

EFT Bank Vendor Change

Union Bank became the Electronic Funds Transmission (EFT) bank vendor for CalPERS, replacing Citibank as of July 1, 2016.

Processing times have also changed:

  • EFT payments received before 5 p.m. are accepted for next day payment settlement. This is a change from the previous cut-off time of 3 p.m. (Pacific Time). EFT payments received after 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) are processed on the next business day.
  • Payment information in my|CalPERS is now updated by 7 a.m. each business day, rather than the same business day by 8 p.m. (Pacific Time).

The CalPERS automated clearing house (ACH) number did not change. If you have questions, call the CalPERS Customer Contact Center at 888-CalPERS (or 888-225-7377).


 

A Way To Estimate Future Healthcare Costs

A recent enhancement to myOrangeMoney® shows 457 Plan participants how much estimated monthly income may be needed to help meet healthcare expenses in retirement. They can model different healthcare cost scenarios based on their age and state where they plan to retire. The new feature is accessible anytime they log into their 457 Plan account and select Retirement Healthcare under the dollar bill.
